Will it ever end lol. Was feeling sick Friday and had been under alot of stress from work and thought it was a cold. Tuesday DH put his foot down and took me to ER where I was admitted. My EKG showed percarditis again(Third time now) Well they made me do a nuclear stress test which I will neve ever do again and it showed damaged to my lower heart, so I went in to have a heart cath done. It showed no blockages so they let me go home Friday night. Now they know I have a rare heart disorder called Brugada symdrome. The only treatmment is to have a defibulator put in. They are hesiting cuz I'm so young, but everytime I get sick, I end up in the hospiyal with pericarditis. Just wish they could go ahead and fix it. Tired of being sick and sore lol.

Really sorry to hear this. It must turn your life and the family life upside down. Percarditis is serious I believe. Sounds as though you may end up with a defibulator even though you are very young. As I understand it, that option would take care of your problem. Or is there a downside to putting in the defib? Do you have any idea when the docs going to make a decision?
