Most common phobias

Do you have a particular fear or phobia of anything?

I personally have a minor fear of heights but not to the phobia level.

I dont have a fear of heights, my fear is of how hard the ground is when I hit it after falling.

Snakes.

Nothing that is as bad as a phobia but I am not fond of heights. I am not sure about those people who work way up on beams in the air. I could not do it. Once I get up on my house I am fine but getting on the ladder to come back down scares the crap out of me.

I don't like closed in spaces but it is not a phobia.

I am lots of "quirks" though.

I suffer from vertigo and get dizzy with heights, even in my dreams.

I also have a morbid fear of cockcroaches just typing the word sends shivers up my spine.

Phobias? No, but lots of things that give me the eebie jeebies. I do not deal well with crawly things. Meagan has 2 hermit crabs and those things totally freak me out. I've picked them up with the very tips of my fingers while holding on to their shells. As soon as their nasty little legs come out-I freak out and drop the hermit crab.

I agree with Sharyn. I hate cockroaches! Especially those BIG ones that always fly at you and they ALWAYS seem to fly directly in your direction. They are bad here right now. I had to kill one a little while ago. The temps here are in the triple digits.
Jimmy can always tell when I scream that I have seen a BIG cockroach and he comes running! My hero!

I hate heights and also going over bridges. I just can't look down . I have a fear of water if it gets any higher than the bottom of my shoulder. I fear all creepy bugs not to the extent that I run away screaming unless they are huge LOL! My worst fear is rodents of any kind. If I see a mouse scurry I just freak out. I also hate amusement rides they freak me out so I never ride them. I am pathetic aren't I?
