Would be interested in info if these exist.

Wondering if they have small washers & dryers, about the size of a dishwasher (24" W, 24" Deep, 36" H).

Any info greatly appreciated.

They have stackables that people get for condos and the like.

Do not need them stacked. I think they maybe called compact NOT portable because I do have the hookups that I have my regular sized washer & dryer hooked up with already. The ones I have now are old & am sure any day will go on the fritz and I myself would need to get in my basement laundry room & hook up so thought the compact kind about the size of a dishwasher would be easy for me to do and also will use less water :o)

I didn't see any at online Sears, but I used to see them in-store all the time. If you have Sears nearby, I'd check with them.

Apparently there is such a thing. I have been trying for over 3years to get a washer/dryer in my apartment due to disability. The combination will fit inside one of the closets. I am not sure how it works but they do have them. The only problem I would see might be the electrical part and the wattage. Probably would need some one to look about that if putting in an apartment. The ones that are used here are the stackable. They are not cheap. Good Luck

There is also a washer/dryer in one machine. I think it's the size of a large washer-but it washes and dries in one-so you only have one machine, not 2---

I'm not sure if it is the same one that is linked to earlier-I saw it at best buy---I don't know if it's the same one and I can't find it on their website. I don't think it was portable.

I've also seen it at sears, but can't find it on their website either
